SUPWirral coastal socials are a brilliant way to take the next step in exploring stand up paddle boarding and the coast.
This coastal sup Social is offered only when you have completed the SUP Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced session or are deemed competent at paddling.

The coast is so different to paddling on calm inland waters, there is a lot to take in;
Different paddle strokes, swell, wind, positioning on the board, and the openness is a little bit scary if you have not paddled in these environments.

However the coastal SUP with SUPWirral's instructors offers you the knowledge and comfort to paddle safely with grace and style!!

​The sessions starts off on the beach going through the different paddle strokes and techniques other than those on the  docks.
Beach etiquette, water safety, self rescue....

These coastal session's only run when the wind is a low onshore and there is a high tide.
​Sounds quite easy but getting the weather and the tide in one is out of our control.
